Biography
Holly Hurley represents individuals and businesses in a wide range of matters, including personal injury, wrongful death, medical malpractice, aviation accidents, premises liability, and business litigation. Holly also advises businesses related to formation, licensing, compliance, contract review and negotiation, commercial law and employment related matters. Holly has served as counsel in multiple trials, including multiple medical malpractice and wrongful death actions, and has negotiated many favorable settlements on behalf of her clients. She has gained extensive experience in all phases of litigation from inception to appeals, including factual investigations, drafting pleadings, conducting discovery, taking and defending depositions, meeting with expert witnesses, conducting direct and cross-examination of witnesses at trial, and assisting in brief writing at the appellate level.
Prior to joining the firm, Holly earned her juris doctor from Mississippi College School of Law She was a member of the Moot Court Board and competed in national appellate competitions. During law school, she spent her summers as an associate at prominent defense firms, and volunteered pro bono services at Mission First Legal Aid office where she provided legal services to individuals and families who were unable to afford legal counsel. Upon graduation from law school, Holly was inducted into the Order of Barristers, a national honor society which recognizes exceptional skills in trial advocacy, oral advocacy and brief writing.
Holly is licensed to practice law and appear before the courts in Tennessee and New York. In 2020, she was inducted into Super Lawyers Rising Stars as a top rated personal injury attorney, a distinction awarded to fewer than 2.5% of attorneys.
